Angela Aki - Kagayaku Hito, Released: April 14, 2010

It's been a year and a half since Angela Aki raised a storm with her Gold Disc-awarded hit single Tegami ~Haikei Jugo no Kimi e~, and now she has come up with its highly anticipated follow-up! First unveiled at her Nippon Budokan performance last year, Angela's new song Kagayaku Hito is inspired by the students at the NHK National School Music Contest, and it carries the message that one should be a "shining person" who bravely goes forward no matter what lies ahead. This is the singer-songwriter and piano-player's fifth year on the J-pop scene, and this single, designated as the theme song for the NHK program Kokoro no Idenshi, represents a breakthrough for Angela, as it is her first guitar song.

The Kagayaku Hito single is coupled with the B-sides The Chase and Without You, plus the choir version of Tegami as a bonus track.
