Right before the end of 2007, the J-pop market introduces yet another promising new star. Yui Aragaki (Japanese gravure idol, model, actress, and former U-15 idol) not only stars in the touching silver screen drama "Koizora", but also performs one of the film's featured songs, "heavenly days". In addition, Aragaki sings the theme song "Memories" for the movie "Koisuru Madori", in which she plays the lead role. She has also acted in dorama like "Dragon Zakura", "My Boss My Hero", "Papa to Musume no Nanokakan", etc. Now Aragaki debuts on the J-pop music scene with this 10-track album featuring both of the above mentioned songs. Aragaki penned some of her own material for "Sora", and collaborated on the album with singer-songwriters Ando Yuoko and Tsuji Ayano, and the trio Clammbon. In Yui Aragaki, it appears as if a promising new music star has been born.
